TSA is here to represent, uplift, and support the voices within the SDA community, as well as organize to support causes outside the school. Below you can view recent calls for change from independently-organized groups within the community, as well as efforts from TSA itself.

SDA Dean Search Feedback

TSA representatives took notes at the student panels of the final 4 candidates for SDA's new Dean. We are providing the below Google Form as a resource to submit feedback which we will pass on to the search committee. Note that TSA is simply consolidating student opinions, and individual student feedback does not represent the opinions of TSA as a whole.

SDA Black Student Demands

On Monday, July 20th, 2020, a coalition of Black students in the School of Dramatic Arts submitted a Call to Action list of demands to SDA administration outlining steps forward to create a truly diverse and inclusive SDA community.

On Thursday, August 13, 2020, an independently-organized group of BA students sent to SDA administration a list of demands for structural change within SDA regarding Diversity & Inclusion, Faculty Accountability, Mental Health, and COVID-19 Response.

In June of 2020, The Theatre Students Association organized to raise $8,538 on behalf of the SDA community for Black Lives Matter Los Angeles.
